I love Presentation Zen for featuring videos like this one from M. Ward. It makes a point and it made me smile:
Now that you’re smiling, here’s the point:
In our business, there are a lot of stories to be told. In our heads, we only have so much real estate to keep those stories in our memories. The people who effectively use a chorus or hook in a song or images in a video or presentation to help us remember what is important will win out every time (and get their videos spread all over the internet). The three most important messages in this video?
“What do you do with the pieces of a broken heart?”
“How can a man like me remain in the light?”
“If life is really as short as they say, then why is the night so long?”
It’s simple, but important to remember – you can’t force your audience to listen and remember everything you’re saying, but you can give them some good reasons to remember the most important points.

I think the points made in this blog strike to the very core. I wise man told me once there are two important aspects to any presentation. #1. Teach people something new. #2. Inspire them.
I think both have been accomplished here. Well done.
